About Annie
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who takes a collaborative, relational, and strength-based approach to therapy. I believe in the power of human connection, and that each of us holds our own innate wisdom and capacity to regulate. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow while encouraging awareness, accountability and lasting change.
I tailor my work with individuals, couples, parents, and families by pulling from evidence based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure Therapy, SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), Family Systems Therapy, and Relational Life Therapy.
I earned my B.A. in Social Science from the University of Washington and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute. I've always been drawn to stories. Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent decades crafting narratives in the world of restaurant marketing and public relations—bringing restaurant stories to life. Now I have the ultimate privilege of holding my clients stories. I find joy in singing with my daughters, exploring near and far, and spending meaningful time with my family and the people I love.
